Courses

This is a technical course in which the theory of flat pattern drafting is introduced. Students will draft various garment components leading to the construction of muslin samples in Apparel Construction 200. The skill of producing a pattern from a sketch is applied. Students will also complete construction-ready patterns for a designed skirt and a designed pant.
Foundation Studies
Today’s graduates entering the workforce will be faced with ever-increasing demands. From writing content for websites to applying for funding to just day-to-day business correspondence, writing and communication skills are very much in demand. The content in MC 100 will guide students in communicating to an audience, improve writing skills, and create a foundation for writing for business.
