Techniques: Attaching a Cord End - Style 4

Materials Cord Cord end Tools Chain Nose Pliers Tip: Adding Hypo Cement into the cord end before inserting the cord will help keep the cord secured.

Step 1 For this technique, we are using a 2mm cord and a 3mm cord end.		Step 2 Insert the cord into the cord end.		Step 3 With the chain nose pliers, grasp the middle of the right side of the cord end and squeeze until it is flat against the cord.
Step 4 Gently squeeze the top of the right side until it is flat against the cord.		Step 5 Gently squeeze the bottom of the right side until it is flat against the cord.		Step 6 Gently squeeze the middle of the left side until it is lying flat on top of the right side of the cord end.
Step 7 Gently squeeze the bottom of the left side until it is lying flat on top of the right side of the cord end.		Step 8 Gently squeeze the top of the left side until it is lying flat on top of the right side of the cord end.		Step 9 Repeat for the second side of the cord. The loops on the cord end can now be used to attach jump rings or clasps.
